Scope

This standard limits the physical performance and intended use of mine hoists and mine hoisting winches. The specified safety requirements are applicable to the hazards generated at each stage of the machine life cycle specified in 3.11 of GB/T 15706.1-1995. This standard applies to non-explosion-proof and explosion-proof friction mine hoists, winding mine hoists, disc brake mine hoist winches and block brake mine hoist winches (hereinafter referred to as hoist) machine and hoist winch). This standard does not apply to belt brake mining hoist winches.
