This specification covers the engineering requirements and process for brush plating of non-cyanide silver by electrodeposition. It is used, in conjunction with AMS 2451, for silver deposits. This process has been used typically to provide low electrical contact resistance, prevent galling or seizing of surfaces of parts, and corrosion protection, but usage is not limited to such applications.
