Scope: This part specifies the general test procedures for thermal evaluation and identification of electrical insulation structures (EIS), and establishes the test procedures for performance comparison between EIS to be evaluated and reference EIS. This part is applicable to the existing or proposed EIS for electrical products with a voltage of 1000V and below and thermal factor as the main aging factor.
