Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the sulfide ion content in coal mine water using p-aminodimethylaniline colorimetry and iodometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of sulfide ions in coal mine water. When the amount of test water sample taken is 25ml, the concentration range of sulfide ions measured by p-aminodimethylaniline colorimetry is 0.08~1.00mg/L. The concentration range of sulfide ions determined by iodometry is above 1.00mg/L.
