Scope

This standard specifies the phenanthroline colorimetric method for the determination of ferrous and ferric ions in coal mine water. This standard is applicable to the determination of ferrous and ferric ions in coal mine water. When 25 ml of the test water sample is taken, the concentration range of ferrous iron ions and ferric iron ions is 0.25 to 8.00 mg/L.
