Scope

This part specifies the design requirements for UAVs under flight loads, and also specifies the principles to be followed in order to achieve these requirements. This section applies to unmanned aerial vehicles with fixed wings and adjustable fixed wings, and applies to newly developed, improved, type or repurposed unmanned aerial vehicles. This section does not apply to micro UAVs and UCAVs.
