Scope
This standard specifies methods for evaluating the high-temperature oxidative thickening, high-temperature sludge and then paint film and other deposit formation tendencies of internal combustion engine oils, as well as the anti-wear performance. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of high-temperature oxidation and anti-wear properties of gasoline engine oils (such as SG, SH, GF-1, SJ/GF-2) and diesel engine oils.
