Scope

This standard specifies methods for the determination of sodium, aluminum, silicon, sulfur, calcium, titanium, vanadium, iron, and nickel in prebaked anodes. This standard is applicable to the simultaneous determination of sodium, aluminum, silicon, sulfur, calcium, titanium, vanadium, iron, and nickel content in prebaked anodes. Other carbon materials for aluminum can also be used with reference.
