Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation and shelf life of food additive xylitol. This standard applies to products made from corncobs, bagasse and other agricultural and sideline products through hydrolysis, purification, hydrogenation and other processes, and used as food additives.
