- This part specifies the general requirements for the ability of standard sample producers to produce standard samples. This part applies to standard sample producers to establish and operate their quality systems, and also applies to accreditation bodies, certification bodies and other organizations related to assessing standard sample producers' capabilities. This section specifies the quality system requirements to be met for reference sample production, which shall be an integral part of the reference sample producer's overall quality assurance (QA) program.
