Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of activated carbon for injection. This standard applies to powdered activated carbon made from wood chips, charcoal or other woody materials and activated by chemical or physical methods. This product is mainly used for decolorization, refining and removal of "pyrogen" of various injection medicines, and can also be used for decolorization of vitamin C and other raw materials.
