Scope
This section applies to AC semiconductor controllers and contactors for non-motor loads that operate the AC circuit by converting its on-state and off-state. Typical applications are shown in Table 2. As a controller, it should be able to continuously or within a specific time reduce the amplitude of the effective value of the AC voltage at the load end, but the AC half-wave time determined by the applied voltage should remain unchanged. Appliances in this section may be provided with a series of mechanical switching devices connected to a circuit with a rated voltage not exceeding 1 000 V AC. Controllers and contactors within the scope of this part are generally not used to break short-circuit currents. Therefore, controllers and contactors should be equipped with appropriate short-circuit protective appliances (see 8.2.5) as part of their installation, but also Can be separated. This standard specifies the requirements for controllers and contactors with separate electrical short-circuit protection. This section does not apply to: ——low-voltage AC semiconductor motor controllers and starters specified in GB 14048.6; ——electronic AC converters specified in IEC 60146; ——with or without solid-state relays. Contactors and control circuit components used in controllers and contactors should comply with their corresponding product standards, and the mechanical switching components used should comply with their corresponding national standards and the additional regulations in this section. The purpose of this part is to specify the following: a) Characteristics of semiconductor controllers and contactors and their corresponding devices. b) The conditions that semiconductor controllers and contactors should meet in the following aspects: ——operating performance; ——dielectric properties; ——protection level (when equipped with an enclosure); ——structural requirements. c) The tests used to verify compliance with these conditions and the test methods used. d) Marked on the product or information provided by the manufacturer.
