This standard specifies the test method for measuring the indentation hardness of rubber with a rubber pocket hardness tester, including the following two types: Shore hardness tester; Pocket rubber international hardness tester. There are two types of Shore hardness testers: Shore A hardness tester is suitable for the normal hardness range of rubber, and D type is suitable for the high hardness range of rubber. The rubber pocket hardness tester is only suitable for general quality control, not for tests with special requirements. Tests with special requirements must adopt the methods specified in GB/T 6031-1998. The accuracy of measurement can be improved by fixing the rubber pocket hardness tester on the bracket.
