Scope
This standard introduces a method for measuring the dielectric loss factor tanδ of insulating liquids. This method obtains tanδ by synchronously measuring the conductance G and capacitance C and then converting it. This standard is applicable to unused insulating liquids and operating transformers or other Insulating liquid used in electrical equipment. Although this standard applies to all liquids mentioned in GB/T 5654-2007, even high-insulating liquids, this standard does not replace GB/T 5654-2007. This method can accurately measure dielectric loss factors as small as 10 under power frequency. Its measurement range is between 10 and 1, and can reach 200 under special conditions.
