- Scope
- This standard specifies the basic methods and technical requirements for regular inspection and evaluation of in-use steel welded gas cylinders. This standard is applicable to the periodic inspection and assessment of refillable welded steel gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as gas cylinders) for storing and transporting low-pressure liquefied gas with a water pressure test pressure not greater than 7.5 MPa and a water volume of 10 to 1000 L. . This standard does not apply to dissolved acetylene cylinders, civil liquefied petroleum gas cylinders and gas cylinders for fire extinguishing.
