1.1.1 This regulation applies to all impact turbines, impulse turbines, reversible pump turbines, energy storage pumps, and also to the mechanical parts of generators or motors connected to them. 1.1.2 This regulation can be used for standard tests of vibration and pulsation. The purpose of the test is as follows: ——Evaluate the design, manufacture and installation quality of hydraulic machinery from the perspective of vibration. The formulation and application of vibration evaluation standards also depend on the standardization of vibration and pulsation tests. ——Suggestions that are beneficial to the operation of the unit are put forward to provide a basis for fault diagnosis and improvement of the vibration and pulsation level of the unit. ——Evaluate the changes in the vibration characteristics of the unit during its service life and the vibration level under normal operating conditions. Non-standard tests should also be carried out with reference to the principles proposed in this regulation. 1.1.3 The test items and measurement items of each test shall be determined through consultation with relevant parties in accordance with this regulation. The test items and measurement items listed in the regulations are not necessary for every test.
