- Scope
- This standard specifies the test method for the determination of the force required to separate the adhesive interface between rubber or thermoplastic rubber and fabric layers or between fabric and fabric layers by the peel method. This standard is applicable to cylindrical samples whose adhesive layer is approximately flat or whose inner diameter is 50 mm or more. This standard does not apply to specimens whose interlaminar surfaces contain sharp bend angles or other serious irregularities in the cutting of the specimen.
