- Scope
- This standard specifies the principles, terms and definitions, symbols, sample equipment, test procedures, test data processing and test reports of stress relaxation tests for metal materials. This standard is applicable to the determination of room temperature and high temperature (≤1000°C) tensile and bending stress relaxation properties of metal materials. When the temperature exceeds 1000°C, the test requirements can be determined through negotiation. Note: See Appendix A (standard appendix) for the samples, test procedures and data processing of prestressed steel.
