This standard specifies the infrared spectrophotometric method for the determination of petroleum, animal and vegetable oils in water. This standard applies to the determination of petroleum, animal and vegetable oils in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. The sample volume is 500ml, and when using a cuvette with an optical path of 4cm, the detection limit of the method is 0.1mg/L; the sample volume is 5L, and the detection limit after enrichment is 0.01mg/L.
