Scope

This standard specifies the gravimetric determination method of sulfate in industrial circulating cooling water. This standard is applicable to the determination of sulfate (calculated as SO^2-₄) content in industrial circulating cooling water not less than 10mg/L. This standard does not apply to the determination of sulfate in industrial circulating cooling water using barium salt scale inhibitors and dispersants.
