Scope: This standard specifies the general requirements, materials, design, manufacture, inspection and acceptance of graphite pressure vessels and requirements for delivery of vessels. This standard applies to pressure vessels made of graphite that meet the following conditions: ——the working pressure is greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa, and the design pressure is not greater than 2.4 MPa; ——the design temperature is -70°C~205°C;——the containment medium is gas , liquefied gas or liquid whose maximum working temperature is higher than or equal to its standard boiling point. This standard does not apply to the following graphite containers: --- directly flame-heated graphite containers; --- graphite containers in nuclear energy installations; --- cast graphite containers; --- graphite brick linings whose main stress is borne by the metal shell equipment.
