Scope: 1.1 This test method describes a procedure to measure open assembly time for a troweled carpet adhesive. 1.2 This test method provides an evaluation of the ability of an adhesive to effectively wet out the intended carpet backing. 1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard.
