Scope

This standard specifies general rules for active infrared thermal imaging detection methods in the field of industrial non-destructive testing. This standard applies to active infrared thermal imaging detection of composite materials, metallic materials and coating materials, including but not limited to discontinuous detection (such as voids, cracks, delamination and slag inclusions, etc.) and evaluation of coating thickness.
