Scope: This standard specifies the method of using eddy current video integration technology to detect welds of metal composite materials, including principles, personnel requirements, testing equipment, testing procedures, result evaluation, and testing reports. This standard applies to the detection of butt welds between metal composite products formed by combining two or more bulk metal materials at the interface using welding, explosion, rolling and other forming techniques. This standard does not apply to the detection of the composite interface of the above-mentioned metal materials. This standard does not apply to weld inspection of metal matrix composites.
