GB/T 14952.2-1994 Anodizing of aluminium and its alloys.Assessment of sealing quality by measurement of the loss of mass after immersion in acid solution (English Version)
This standard specifies the method for evaluating the sealing quality of aluminum and aluminum alloy anodic oxidation film after its mass loss after being etched in acetic acid-sodium acetate or acidified sodium sulfite solution. This standard applies to the anodic oxide film exposed to the atmosphere, which plays a protective role in corrosive media and focuses on anti-pollution. This standard does not apply to the anodized coatings treated by the following processes: a. Hard anodized coatings that are usually not sealed; b. Hydrophobic treated anodized coatings; c. Treated only in dichromate solution anodized film. This method is a destructive test.
