Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, and storage of high-activity cobalt-60 sealed radioactive sources. This standard applies to cobalt-60γ sources for teletherapy and cobalt-60γ sources for industrial irradiation with radioactivity (hereinafter referred to as activity) greater than 10TBq.
