- This standard specifies the basic principles for classifying the transport packaging categories of various dangerous goods. This standard is applicable to the basis for determining the packaging category when the production, storage, transportation and inspection departments of dangerous goods conduct performance tests and inspections on the transport packaging of dangerous goods. This standard does not apply to: a. Pressure containers containing compressed gases and liquefied gases; b. Transport packages containing infectious materials; c. Transport packages containing radioactive materials; d. Transport packages containing miscellaneous items; e. Net weight Packages greater than 400kg; f. Packages with volume greater than 450L.
