Scope

This standard specifies the test equipment, sample preparation, test procedures, test results and calculations for the surface resistance test. This standard is suitable for measuring the surface resistance of wires and cables, and its measurement range is 10⁵～10¹⁵Ω. When the conditional treatment environment and test environment of the sample are different from this standard, the test results cannot be compared with those measured in the environment specified in this standard. The general requirements and definitions of electrical performance tests of wires and cables and the requirements for periodic calibration of test equipment are specified in GB/T3048.1.
