Scope: This document specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of butyl rubber damping sheets. This document is applicable to the damping sheet composed of viscoelastic film made of butyl rubber as the main material, and the surface is compounded with aluminum foil, non-woven fabric or plastic film and other constraining layers. It is used for mechanical equipment, road vehicles, surface ships, household appliances, etc. For the qualification judgment of butyl rubber damping sheets for vibration reduction, noise reduction and sound insulation, other uses can be used for reference.
