Scope

This standard specifies the general method for the determination of phosphate by the extraction-phosphoplatin blue colorimetric method. This standard applies to the determination of trace orthophosphate in chemical reagents. The detection range of spectrophotometry or visual colorimetry is 0.2-2jig/ml in butyl acetate (calculated as PO4).
