Scope: This document specifies the requirements for online inspection and verification (hereinafter referred to as "inspection") of geometric features (dimensions, surface structure) during the production process. Methods for GPS-based online feature extraction, filtering (surface error separation), fitting, evaluation, eligibility, and default operating specifications are described. This document is applicable to the on-line detection and verification of dimensions and surface structure features in the production process.
