Scope

This document describes two test methods (Method A and Method B) for assessing the wear resistance of leather heel surfaces. Method A is the rotating roller attritor method. Method B is the reciprocating attrition machine method. This document applies to the heel surface of leather shoes for general wear (hereinafter referred to as the heel surface).
