Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for welding procedure qualification of welding gas cylinders. This standard is applicable to electrode arc welding, submerged arc welding, gas tungsten shielded welding, melting Welding procedure qualification for welding methods such as gas shielded welding and plasma arc welding. This standard does not apply to the welding procedure qualification of non-refillable welded steel cylinders for industrial use.
