Scope

This standard specifies the detection methods for the appearance, identification, K value, NVP residual monomer, moisture, solid content, pH value and sulfated ash of poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone for industrial use. This standard applies to industrial poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone (hereinafter referred to as PVP) linear polymers produced by solution polymerization of N-vinylpyrrolidone (hereinafter referred to as NVP) monomer.
