Scope
This document gives the fatigue pressure evaluation method of metal pressure-bearing shells of hydraulic components under continuous and stable, cyclical internal pressure loads. This document applies only to pressure-containing housings of hydraulic components made of metal, operating at temperatures that do not cause creep and low-temperature embrittlement, and are only subjected to stresses caused by pressure, without loss of strength due to corrosion or other chemical effects. The pressure housing may include gaskets, seals and other non-metallic parts, but these parts are not part of the pressure housing of the hydraulic component under test (see GB/T 19934.1). This document does not apply to piping components (ie fittings, hoses, pipes) specified in ISO 4413. See GB/T26143, ISO6803 and ISO6605 for the fatigue test methods of piping components. This document presents a general method applicable to fatigue pressure evaluation of metallic pressure housings of hydraulic components. In addition, EN 14359 describes specific methods and test requirements for fatigue pressure evaluation of accumulators.
