- This document specifies the usage characteristics, model naming, marking, material structure, technical requirements for finished accessories, acceptance rules, packaging, transportation and storage of cross-linked polyethylene insulated long-length submarine cable accessories with a rated voltage of 500kV (Um=550kV). This document is applicable to factory joints (soft joints), repair joints, transition joints between submarine cables and land cables, outdoor terminals, and GIS terminals of cross-linked polyethylene insulated long-length submarine cables with a rated voltage of 500kV (Um=550kV).
