Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for equipment that oil tankers intending to use single-point mooring equipment should be equipped with, such as bow chain stoppers, bow fairleads, and fairlead rollers. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of single-point mooring equipment for oil tankers.
