Scope
This standard specifies the silver diethyldithiocarbamate spectrophotometric method for the determination of arsenic and its compounds present in the form of particulate matter in waste gas from stationary pollution sources. This standard is applicable to the determination of arsenic and its compounds existing in the form of particulate matter in exhaust gas from stationary pollution sources. When the sampling volume is 0.4 m (standard state) and the constant volume is 50.0 ml, the detection limit of this method is 0.004 mg/m, and the lower determination limit is 0.016 mg/m (both calculated as As).
