- This standard specifies the technical requirements for the specifications, functions and performance of chassis dynamometers, exhaust analyzers, flow meters and sampling systems that are the main equipment for measuring exhaust pollutants using the transient operating condition method of ignition engine vehicles. This standard applies to the production, use and type approval inspection of exhaust pollutant measurement equipment using the transient operating condition method for ignition engine vehicles.
