Scope

This document specifies the operation and result interpretation of industrial ray computer tomography (CT) system, the purpose is to provide relevant technical information for testing personnel, so that appropriate parameters can be selected during the testing process. This document is applicable to the detection of industrial ray computed tomography (non-medical applications), and gives a set of unified definitions of CT performance parameters, as well as the relationship between these performance parameters and the technical specifications of CT systems. This document applies to computed axial tomography and not to other types of tomography such as translational scan tomography and tomosynthesis.
