Scope

This document specifies the basic requirements for performance verification of industrial ray computed tomography (CT) systems when performing different inspection tasks. This document is applicable to the detection of industrial ray computed tomography (non-medical applications), and gives a set of unified definitions of CT performance parameters, as well as the relationship between these performance parameters and the technical specifications of CT systems. This document applies to computed axial tomography and not to other types of tomography such as translational scan tomography and tomosynthesis.
