Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, product categories and markings, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of high-strength polyurethane foam plastics for liquefied gas storage. This document applies to polyurethane foam used in land-based storage tanks and pipelines for liquefied gas, cargo tanks, tanks and pipelines for liquefied gas carriers, and marine liquefied gas storage tanks, pipelines and fuel tanks.
