The standard stipulates the technical requirements and testing methods for the software reliability of smart energy meters, and is applicable to the software reliability design and software reliability testing of smart energy meters installed and used in power grids with a rated frequency of 50Hz. The standard puts forward technical requirements for the software reliability of smart energy meters from five aspects: data storage requirements, electric energy measurement requirements, parameter setting requirements, clock requirements, and communication requirements, and stipulates the test methods for each technical requirement. It aims to standardize the design of smart energy meter software, improve reliability, and ensure the construction of smart grids by conducting reliability tests on smart energy meter software.
