- Scope
- This standard specifies the basic methods and technical requirements for periodic inspection and evaluation of steel welded gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as "gas cylinders") used in gas fire extinguishing systems. This standard is applicable to the regular inspection and evaluation of steel welded gas cylinders for gas fire extinguishing systems with a nominal working pressure not exceeding 10MPa (gauge pressure) and a nominal volume of 1L to 1000L, used to contain low-pressure liquefied gas, refillable. This standard does not apply to fire-extinguishing gas cylinders that only bear instantaneous pressure during fire extinguishing but do not bear pressure during storage.
