- This standard specifies the general requirements, test methods and reliability assessment for functional reliability testing of tool magazines and automatic exchange devices (hereinafter referred to as tool magazines). This standard is applicable to the reliability testing and compliance testing of disk tool magazines and chain tool magazines with automatic exchange devices for machining centers. Tool magazines for other machine tools and other types of tool magazines can also be implemented by reference.
