Scope

This document specifies the instruments and equipment, test procedures, test results and precision for the determination of volatile matter in carbon materials. This document is applicable to the determination of volatile content of carbon materials such as calcined coke, calcined coal, needle coke, graphite products, roasted products and carbon pastes.
