Scope: This document specifies the classification and marking, technical requirements, marking, packaging and information provided by the manufacturer of self-priming filter respirators, and describes the test methods. This document applies to gas masks based on the self-priming filter principle. This document does not apply to self-priming filter respirators for hypoxic environments, underwater operations, escape and fire-fighting thermal areas.
