- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, models, environmental and technical parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of non-metallic low-voltage electric energy metering boxes (hereinafter referred to as "metering boxes"). This standard is applicable to AC 50 Hz, rated voltage 220 V/380 V, rated current (1 ~ 400) A used in conjunction with power user power supply lines. The cover is made of transparent polycarbonate resin (PC) and the base is made of non-transparent polycarbonate. Non-metallic low-voltage electric energy metering box made of resin (or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin ABS) injection molded. This standard does not apply to electric energy metering boxes (cabinets) with metal structures.
