Scope
1.1 This specification covers methacrylate plastic sheets, rods, tubes, and other shapes produced by casting or machining cast blanks. This specifcation does not apply to heatformed and molded or extruded parts and shapes,or sectionsthat aremadeby assembling two or more pieces. NOTE1-The properties included in this specification are those required to identify the types and grades of materials covered. There may be other requirements necessary to identify particular characteristics.
