Scope

This part of GB39800 stipulates the overall requirements for the provision of personal protective equipment (i.e. labor protection supplies) for employers in the metallurgical and nonferrous industries, the identification and assessment of hazard factors, and the provision of personal protective equipment. This section applies to the provision and management of personal protective equipment for various employers and their employees in the metallurgical and nonferrous industries. This section does not apply to the provision and management of personal protective equipment for fire protection by employers in the mining, mineral processing and metallurgical and non-ferrous industries.
